Company Name Origin

To create unified common grounds for Online Games and Services.
As dango (Japanese dumpling) is often served with a skewer, our company name stems from the skewer which holds all the dango.

Founding Members

All our founding members have had extensive experiences in the areas of Online Game (Flash/PC), Consumer Game Software development (Nintendo DSi / Wii / GameBoyAdvance / SEGA DreamCast)and Web system related development.  They have received numerous awards in their technical achievements.    They are all well-versed in the corporate management as well as international businesses.

Hiroaki Ishibashi

Studied Computer Media Art at IAMAS (International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences), published various works via internet and installation.  Won numerous excellence awards at many technology contests (Excellence Web award at 30th Nippon Sho, 3rd Tokyo Interactive Ad Award, etc, Project planning and design of Game Software (DC), produced by Ryuichi Sakamoto.   Since 2005, in charge of direction and design of Nintendo Game Software (DSi/Wii/GBA),   NHK Educational TV programming,  Online Educational Material Project Design and Planning, Corporate Brand Site Development etc, active in many areas.
Currently, working as a producer and an architect of Social Games and Social Applications.

Keisuke Minami

Founded “Hi-Fi-Net” while attending Hohsei University, Electronic Information department, successfully completed various web developments such as Mail Magazine distribution site targeting toward China. After graduation, developed broadband support systems, worked for Motive Communications, and re-established “Hi-Fi-Net” as an Online Game company.   Accomplished as a programmer and a system consultant, with his original creative programming skills, in 2007, was selected in the 1st term of “Unexplored Software Creation Project” hosted by Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA).  Japan’s leading expert in the world-wide popular Web development programming language, Ruby.  His publications include “CGI Programming with Ruby” (SCC company), “Introduction to Ruby/GTK programming” (Gijutsu Hyoronsha), “Startup Java new version” (Gijutsu Hyoronsha).

Atsushi Ishii

Atsushi Ishii is Couger’s founding CEO and CTO of LivingImage. He has started the career of the IT as an engineer in Internet Service Provider of IBM. Afterwards, joined Lycos Japan. Mainly job was related to the system development, construction, and operation for Search Engine, Reporting System, Contents Delivery System, and Streaming System. And he worked in Search Engine team of Infoseek after Rakuten merged Lycos Japan. In 2003, joined Saver corporation that is system development company specializes in mobile technology. After working as engineer/architect for development, served as director of product strategy, management board and director of technology & development. He also has written a book about technology, particularly in the areas of programming, digital image.

Hikaru Takahashi

Hikaru Takahashi had lots of experiences of system development in a major independent system integrator in his early career of IT. In Lycos Japan, he is in charge of the system development of the mail system and the community system with large-scale user access. He also involved in development of the community system in Infoseek of Rakuten. Afterwards, joined Saver corporation that is system development company specializes in mobile technology. In the company, he is in charge of development of an overseas mobile system, and mobile music distribution sites. He is Couger’s founding CTO and Chief Software Architect of LivingImage, has experience of image recognition system, Facebook application system and Android application.

Koji Morihiro

Obtained Masters Degree at Cornell University, Department of science and engineering, 18-year resident of North America with extensive experience in International business, Worked for Fujitsu for 14 years, major force behind venture capital partnership strategies.  Later, as a partner at Silicon Valley venture capital firm for 5 years, operated one of the highest level venture capital group in the world, thoroughly knowledgeable about enterprise business structures.  Participated in numerous corporation establishment, funding, Corporate Strategies, Stock Listing, M&A.  11 years of experience in establishment of Venture business and management.

Yuji Akaba

Worked in construction machinery development for 6 years at Komatsu Seisakujo,  Educated at Stanford Graduate School,  Development and execution of Business operation strategy for 14 years, new organization planning, introduction, marketing, Startup businesses, etc, led many projects, acted as a crucial support personal in large-scale management innovation.
